Millicent Sedi is an agricultural value chain, market systems development and gender expert with more than twelve years of international experience in the private, public and NGO world, the management and implementation of food and agricultural development activities with and small holder farmers in more than twenty-four countries in Africa. She has a vast understanding of agricultural market systems and has worked with private and public sector actors to invest in long-term relationships with small holder farmers for structured crop and dairy production. She has worked with various National and Kenyan County Governments, private sector, donors like USAID, BMGF, EU, MCF, GIZ, MSU, AFDB, among others.
She has a successful and diverse background in value chain development, market analysis and development, agro-industry development, rural finance, regional and international trade policies, grants management, partnership and coordination, financial analysis of businesses and strategic plan development.
Currently, Millicent Sedi is the Senior Manager, Agriculture and Food Systems at Microsave Consulting.
Millicent Sedi holds a master’s degree in Agribusiness Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Production.
