Dr. Charity Kawira Mutegi

Dr. Mutegi is a distinguished Scientist in food safety, post-harvest and food loss and waste management, with vast experience in the region, At policy level, she has led the process facilitation of policy development in both SPS and Financial infrastructure. A catalyst for multi-sector collaboration, she leads the curation of high-impact dialogues, that include Financing Agrifood Systems Sustainably (FINAS) Summit and the GlobalG.A.P. Tourstops, catalyzing public private partnerships for sustainable food systems. She also serves in various boards, including in the ISAAA Africentre board, and the Empowering Farmers Foundation (EFF) Council. Her works have received global, regional and in-country recognition through various awards.
