Madhuri Mukherjee

Madhuri Mukherjee is an Associate Partner at Dalberg Advisors, based in Nairobi. She brings over eight years of experience spanning investment banking, inclusive finance, and international development, with particular expertise in gender-transformative approaches to agriculture and financial inclusion. At Dalberg, she has established herself as a leading voice in designing and implementing digital solutions that enhance financial access and agricultural productivity for underserved populations, focusing on women smallholder farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Madhuri has extensive experience advising international organizations, development finance institutions, and private sector clients on gender-inclusive program design, digital financial services, and agricultural innovation. Her work consistently emphasizes creating sustainable, scalable solutions that enhance women’s economic agency and youth opportunities in emerging markets. Beyond her client work, Madhuri was formerly on the advisory board of LXME, India’s first women-focused financial planning and investment platform, demonstrating her commitment to advancing women’s financial inclusion globally. Prior to joining Dalberg, Madhuri held senior positions at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs, where she specialized in credit risk, market risk, and regulatory analysis across multiple global markets. She holds an MA in International Business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management – Kozhikode, and a BA in Economics (Honors) from the University of Delhi.
