Koya Matsuno is the Co-Founder of VunaPay, a digital financial services platform that enables instant payments and financial tools for smallholder farmers in Kenya. His work focuses on addressing delayed payments in agriculture by integrating cooperatives, banks, and mobile money systems to drive financial inclusion in rural communities.
Prior to VunaPay, Koya worked in Equity Capital Markets at J.P. Morgan, supporting equity offerings and advisory across sectors.
He holds a degree in Economics from UCLA.
