Kevin Genga is a Senior Market Engagement Manager at the GSMA AgriTech Programme. He was previously an Inclusive Finance and Rural Development Expert and Project Manager at the Mastercard Foundation’s Fund for Rural Prosperity Program where he supported the roll-out/scale of financial services and products to the underserved rural population in 15 countries across sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining the Fund, Kevin was a Consultant at MicroSave Consulting Company (MSC).
He has also worked at Kenya Commercial Bank as a Microfinance and SME Banking consultant and in the NGO/Government funded projects as a project officer with the APHIA II program. He is passionate about catalysing innovative models, inclusive growth and financing, challenge fund management, innovative rural development, capacity development, and impact investments.
Kevin holds an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Nairobi in addition to an Honors Degree in Foods and Nutrition from Egerton University -Kenya. Away from work, Kevin engages in farming activities.
