Julius Nyabicha

Julius holds a master’s degree in Agribusiness Management and is currently undertaking PhD studies in food safety, focusing on aflatoxin. Julius has cross-border experience in food security and safety and specializes in marketing and communication for the adoption of agricultural technology. Julius has worked in the agriculture sector for two decades, both in the public and private sectors. Julius worked in Tanzania for eight years as an expatriate supporting smallholder farmers in the fertilizer, horticulture, and post-harvest handling technologies (hermetic bags and Aflasafe bio-pesticide) to control aflatoxin in grains and pulses. He is currently the Marketing and Communication Lead at Cereal Growers Association. He is in charge of aligning grant and non-grant activities with CGA’s core mandate and information packaging for easy dissemination to stakeholders, including the media.
