Dr. Samuel Tiriongo

Dr. Tiriongo is the Director of Research and Policy at KBA, responsible for designing and executing the research agenda, and overseeing the Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFI) programme for the banking industry. He is an economist, with over 17 years of experience, 13 of which as an economist at the Central Bank of Kenya. Dr. Tiriongo holds a PhD in Financial Economics and is a practicing researcher. He currently chairs the Agri-Finance Working Group jointly convened with Aceli Africa and involving varied critical stakeholders including commercial banks, AGF, FSD-Kenya, AGRA, AFRACA, MercyCorp, GIZ, TechnoServe, The National Treasury, KEPSA, AGRIFIN, among others.
